The main objective of this series is to offer a framework for presenting recent results obtained in the area of theoretical, numerical and experimental aspects of environmental and life sciences problems. Another purpose is to create a link between the researchers and the possible users of the applications.
The organizers believe that this meeting will provide a forum for the interaction of specialists involved in the creation, development and application of mathematical models and computer software related to environmental and life sciences problems.

Papers are invited on the topics outlined or other in close relation to. Abstracts of no more than 300 words should be submitted to
cpopa@univ-ovidius.ro or istelian@gheorghita.ima.ro as soon as possible.
Abstracts should clearly state the purpose, results and conclusions of the work to be described in the final paper.
The Proceedings of the workshop containing the full-length papers will be published in a hard cover book at Editura Academiei Romane and will contain only the presented and favourable referred contributions.
Accommodation will be available in (**) and (***) hotels( approximate prices: double -40 EUR; single -30 EUR, double -50 EUR; -40 EUR, per day, respectively). A limited number of three bed rooms at Student's Hotel "Pescarie" will be also available (approx. 10 EUR per person and day).
The registration fee is 350 RON payable at the registration desk. It will include the cost of the banquet and a copy of the Proceedings. A limited number of grants will be available.
A one-day trip in the Danube Delta is intended to be organized (approx. 300 RON per person). Details will be available in the forthcoming announcements.
